Salsa
Restaurant-Style Salsa:
1 (14 oz.) can fire-roasted tomatoes
1 (10 oz.) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies — I like to drain some, but not all of the juice
3 cloves minced garlic
3/4 cup diced white onion
1 cup cilantro leaves
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 jalapeño (use half the pepper without seeds for mild, full pepper for medium, or full pepper with seeds for spicy)
studio mcgee recipe - haven't tried this yet. I will likely omit the cumin or add less than it says.
I can't get enough salsa recipes, so here's another one I've tried
28 oz whole tomatoes w/ juice
2- 15 oz fire roasted tomatoes w/ juice
1 4 oz green chiles
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 garlic clove
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne
1 c. cilantro
2 limes
