Clam Chowder

This is from my friend Vicki. It is TASTY!

2 cans minced clams
1 onion
1 cup diced celery
2 cups diced potatoes
seafood seasoning
3/4 c butter
3/4 c flour
1 qt half and half
salt and pepper
1/2 tsp sugar

Drain clams juice over vegetables
Add water to cover.
Cook until tender 20 minutes.
Melt butter, add flour, cream until thick
Pour into veggies
Add clams and seasoning
Simmer
