Apple Pie

Pie Crust:

Stir together:
2 C. flour
1.2 T Sugar
3/4 tsp salt

With a pastry blender, blend
3/4 C. lard

Mix together:
1/2 T vinegar
1 small egg, beaten
1/4 C. water

Form into a ball, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes. When ready to use, divide in half.

Mix the following:

3 C. pared, cored and sliced apples
3 T flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 C. sugar


Preheat oven to 375* Pour into pie crusts and pour 3 T milk and dab with 2 T butter.  Top with second pie crust.  Vent.  Bake 40-45 minutes
