Apple Crisp

Heat oven to 375

Peel, core and slice 12 large cooking apples.  Sprinkle with 2 T. lemon juice, then a mixture of
1/2 C. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
Mix Well

Turn into a 9 X 13 baking dish

Topping:
2/3 C. flour
2 C. oats
1 C. brown sugar
1 scant tsp. salt
1 cube + 3 T melted butter
Mix well

Spread over apples.  Bake 30 minutes, or until top is crunchy and brown.  It is not necessary to peel the apples.
