Favorite things dip
It's fitting that my first entry have avocado's in it.
Favorite things salad (I like to call it a dip)
1 can green giant southwestern style corn (corn black beans, peppers)-drained
1 ripe avocado, cut into chunks
1-4 oz. jar artichoke hearts
2 cloves minced garlic
This is a spin on guacamole or Texas caviar, which are some ultimate faves. Their are a million combo's, but I've never seen one with artichokes, which is another one of my top loves.

Diane--I'm so proud. I just got through subscribing to cooksillustrated on line, but I could have saved the money and just gone to your blog!! I've never seen that picture of my grandpa--it's wonderful!!!
